CAMMing is a Master slave arrangement in which the slave axis movement will be
in relation with the master axis to generate a various profiles/shapes. The workhead is a master & the crossslide on which
the grinding wheel is mounted is a slave. For the various shapes to grind the work head (master) 360 degee movement & the relative
cross slide movement is achieved with the Special CAM functionality in the controller.
The features of the customized software are
› To generate the CAM table data for the various shapes like Capsule, oval, hexagon, teardrop etc.
› The parameter entry for the grinding like depth of cut , no of passes , roughing speed etc.
The real time Ethernet connectivity with the PC, Motion control & I/O functionality is controlled the soft PLC.
