mks stands for Maschinen- Kontroll- Systeme ( machine control systems). The Company was founded in 1981. Since then, mks is engaged in development, production and sales of electronic products for industrial measuring and control. Special emphasis is always concentrated to terms like "speed" and "drive", where targets pointed to micro- electronic units only and never to the power range. Today, the mks product range, on this limited field, is almost unique worldwide in terms of functionality and flexibility.
Despite of worldwide activities, mks remained a small, smart and flexible company with about 30 employees only. Many standard and routine works have been transfered to selected and reliable subcontractors. However, all quality relevant activities like technical design (hard and soft), purchase of components, testing and quality management will never get out of their own hands.
