| UMAC |
 |
The UMAC (Universal Motion and Automation Controller) is a modular PMAC system built with a set of 3U-format Eurocards. The configuration of any UMAC system starts with the selection of the PMAC PCU or MACRO fiber optic interface and continues with the addition of the necessary axes boards, I/O boards, communication interfaces (USB, Ethernet, etc.) and any other interface boards selected from the rich variety of available accessories. For example, accessory boards interface with virtually any kind of feedback sensor or to implement almost any kind of communication method with the host computer or external devices. |

The PMAC2A-PC104 motion controller is a compact, cost-effective version of the Delta Tau's PMAC2 family of controllers. It can be composed of up to three boards in a stack configuration, allowing to control up to eight axes with either analog ±10V, or pulse and direction amplifier command signals. This motion controller can be used stand-alone or commanded by a host computer with its RS-232 serial port or the optional PC/104 bus interface, USB or Ethernet communication methods. |

| Advantge 400 |
 |
The Advantage 400 is based on the PMAC2 motion controller with an embedded PC 104 computer. The front panel 8.4" TFT color display, handwheel and a standard CNC keyboard with F1 to F10 function keys for machine management. Tha back panel includes all connectors for the complete machine interface. The overall dimesnsions of the Advantage 400 are 304.6mm width x205.0mm height x 100.0mm depth.
The embedded PC 104 computer features a 586 166 MHz CPU with a 32bit Core, 128MB SDRAM, 16MB Flash card and Windows CE.net operating system. Options include flash memory32/64/128 MB and Ethernet RJ 45 interface.
The axis computer CPU features a 40MHz DSP 56311 CPU, 128k x 24 internal zero-wait-state SRAM, 512k x 8 flash memory for user backup and firmware, default servo cycle time of 55 microseconds per axis(expandable) and servo algorithm with velocity and accelaration feed forward and notch filters. The Advantage 400 interfaces with internal PLC programs for I/O and machine sequence management and these programs are written with a very simple yet powerful basic-like language.
